**Vincent Bemoan and Flavia Cash-register Strike Again **

Not content with disappointing eighty-one fans in Coventry who paid £129 for the privilege of not seeing them. Days later, Mr Vincent Bemoan and Miss Flavia Cash-register, together with events organizer Mr. Ronald "rip-off" Jager, have been allowed to fleece the unsuspecting public again. This dishonourable event has been made possible with the assistance of the Longfield Suites "nothing to do with us" senior management policy. The Longfield Suite management and Bury council for reasons best known to them, see fit to rent this superb council owned facility to any spiv or cowboy outfit they like. To add further insult to injury they are quite happy to let Rip-off Ronald run similar events in the future. When he and the rest of these "strictly cowboy" outfits should be run out of town.

As huge fans of Strictly Come Dancing we attended this event with our twelve-year-old daughter, who sacrificed one months dancing lessons to pay the extra so we could afford the VIP tickets at £40 each. We were really looking forward to seeing an extra special family night out. We did not expect the night to end up in tears.

The whole event was a total disgrace. It can only be describe as a money making exercise, for the benefit of Vincent Bemoan, Flavia Cash register, Rip-off Ronald and Bury Council. Mr. Rip-off has made an obscene profit out of this disaster, at our expense.

Ronald Rip-off has waltzed all the way to the bank and is refusing to give a refund.

My advice:

DO NOT ATTEND ANY EVENT ORGANIZED BY JAGERS EVENTS.

PAY BY CREDIT CARD - this will separate the cash cowboys from the honest event organizers, and in the event of a similar calamity, you can get your money back.

My wife and I bought 2 tickets as a present for our friends.
When we found out it had been a disaster, we contacted Ronald Jaeger, who asked us to put it in writing which we did. He then replied he had taken legal advice and fulfilled all his obligations.
We then contacted the Trading Standards Office (Rochdale)who for some reason thought it would be difficult to pursue the matter further and also told us they were not aware of any other complaints.!!
(I will send details to them of this website.)
On the 25th Feb we then got a 2nd letter from Jaeger offering us a discounted ticket price for the forthcoming James and Ola event.
We therefore assume ticket sales must be down, Cant think why !!!!

**Statement from Alan Rea owner of Re-al Dancesport**

Re-al Dancesport & Re-al Dancesport Promotions would like to issue the following statement.

We are in no way part of any other event organisation in the Uk.

I would like to assure people in the world of dance that throughout our events in 2008 which are to be held at The Longfield Suite, Prestwich, Re-al Dancesport will be keeping the numbers low and limited to assure dancers comfort, All shows we have booked are all at least 5 dance showcases.
In the event that the demonstrators were in anyway unable to perform a full refund would be given!

We hope that dancers that have attended other organisers recent events that they will still support the functions that Re-al Dancesport have on offer.
If anyone would like to contact me please call 0161 337 0984.
With thanks

We were a party of 7, one being a present to a granddaughter. We were very disappointed and angry at the end of the evening, and wrote to Mr Jager after voicing our dissatisfaction on the night to the Longfield Centre management.
In the letter we suggested that compensation would be appropriate as there had obviously been a breach of contract between what we had seen, and what we had been led to expect from the programme and the advertising of the event.

In our opinion it was nothing more than a money making project. I believe there was 350 people seated, which left a small rectangular dance floor hardly big enough to perform any ballroom steps correctly. The whole evening was spent trying to avoid collisions and use every conceivable space available....

A large amount of people left extremely early, due to the huge disappointment of the evening. At one point we actually counted 19 couples of the floor who where dancing a quickstep. They were just about managing not to bump into each other, this proved how over sold the evening was. We were on the outer edge of the room, largely blocked by the white clothed circular champagne tables at a cost of £40 per person.

The organiser, Ronald Jager never once made any attempt to apologise, evening when we tried to speak to him prior to leaving. All he did was to say it wasn’t his fault, and he still had lots of people to pay. I suggested he should have a contingency plan, he informed me that Vincent is a personal friend of his and had promised they would perform. Maybe in future Mr Jager needs to clarify this.

To think we had spent £50 on tickets, given up an evenings work and travelled a 45 minute journey each way.

Only one dance - supposedly Vincent was sick - love sick maybe!! Many unhappy people. In addition Mr Jager had crammed so many people (and extra tables) in there was barely room for a fifth of those present to dance themselves - money and profit more important than people's enjoyment. I would not recommend any of his events to anyone.

After being a huge fan of Strictly and being so excited at seeing Vincent and Flavia perform I can only describe the evening as a total disaster. There were far to many people for the room, if I stood up to see the entertainment I was blocking someone elses view, in my opinion the organisers were not considerate to their public but only interested in bums on seats = money£. Major dissappointment. Extremely let down and if Mr Jager wants to uphold his reputation I think he should give everyone their money back.

Having paid £225 for 9 tickets to this exhibition dance we were extremely disappointed to see only one dance. Imagine walking into the dance hall to find half of the dance floor taken up with tables and chairs, and to add insult to the whole evening, autographs then took place with people queueing on the already crowded dance floor.
The organisers obviously knew early on that they wouldn't be doing the full show, and it would have been nice if Mr Jager had taken the microphone and explained the situation, rather than the DJ keep announcing another record. Eventually, 11 records later, and nearly an hour behind schedule, the dancers appeared, and it was only after the one dance that people realised that's all they were getting for their money. At this point, quite a number of extremely disappointed people walked out, along with all the non-dancers who had paid to not watch a show.

However, nowhere on this website has it been established that the room was filled to more than it's legal capacity. Simply being uncomfortable and not being able to dance is not a legal case. I'm not trying to defend the organisers but I believe there is something in law called 'force majeure' which essentially frees both parties from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of both parties occurs. Would you be able to prove this wasn't the case in a court of law?

If you can, then you will have our full backing.

Please be patient this website is still under construction - We did not expect a night out at a Jagers Event in a Bury Venue, would result in us having to create a website to fight for our consumer rights.
