The
Strictly Rip-off website has been created by the Strictly Rip-off team
to fight for the consumer rights for the unsuspecting public who had the
misfortune to attend a Strictly Come Dancing event organized by Mr. Ronald
Jager of Jagers Dance Centre, trading as Jagers Events and Jagers Strictly
Events.
On the 12 January 2008, More than 350 people paid £25-£40
per ticket, to be crammed into the Longfield Suite Prestwich, Manchester,
to watch a Strictly Come Dancing show, starring Vincent Simone and Flavia
Cacace, who took part in the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing. THE SHOW
ONLY LASTED THREE MINUTES.
For the paying public the entire evening can only be described a shambolic
poor excuse for a dance exhibition. For Jagers Dance Centre under the
supervision of Mr. Ronald Jager, who was responsible for this fiasco,
it was a huge financial success. He has walked away with a healthy profit.
This event was driven by greed at the expense of the public's enjoyment
and safety. Some members of the audience had to stand on their chairs
to catch a glimpse of the three-minute show. Mr. Jager is of the opinion
that he can pass the risks associated with this substandard non-event
to the ticket buying public. This is unlawful.
We have formed the Strictly Rip-off team to make sure that Mr. Jager and
all parties involved in allowing this fiasco to take place are made responsible
for their negligence. In addition a full refund will be demanded and we
are prepared to take the matter to court.
We need your help. If you were there and you want your money back please
inform us. We need photographs or video clips for evidence of poor health
and safety procedures. We would also like to here your side of the story.
How far did you travel, how many tickets did you buy, what was your opinion
of the night.
Please use the Have Your Say page to submit your
details and views or you can E-Mail your story with pictures/video clips
attached. E-Mail: justice@strictlyripoff.com.
We will keep you informed, and publish your comments.
On the links page you will find a comprehensive
list of organizations with online links you can contact and make your
voice count.
Please be patient this website is still under construction - We did not
expect a night out at a Jagers Strictly Come Dancing event, would result
in us having to create a website to fight for our consumer rights.
